ya, hoping to top 100mph, but that may be wishful thinking. I'm in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. There are a few ice boats in the winter on a local lake, but I've never actually seen one up close. Also getting 12ft of clear anything is tricky here, I could get some sort of spruce, not sikita, should be quarter sawn right? or would fir or pine work? cedar? The runners though, I might try 40" or so with 10" true flat or so. Wondering if a inverted V sharpening provile would work better? as oposed to the outward v on DN runners? or Does anyone know anyone who races skeeters that I could ask, what are they doing to go the fastest? hey thanks for the help!

I will get some pictures if it ever comes completly together.
