Hi,
I have an acquired home built ice boat that will barely move. I know this is not normal, and at first
chaulked it up to the original canvas sail being undersized at 30 sq ft. I built a poly tarp and increased the mast to 16 feet and boom to 10 feet.
A iceboat i built during college days that used my Hobie Cat sail, flew and was a real hoot. But I cannot figure out what is wrong with this one, or why it wont move. I have some pix I can post, of the sail, and today made battens. I am about to give up tho, as the kids are getting frustrated pushing this thing on 15 mph days
