The only clue I have to the name of the design is a graphic of a stingray and a the name stingray on a faded tag on the sail ... it may just be the sail maker, but I'm assuming it was also the design name.
I'll probably just take measurements and copy my friends, but I'm curious as to the history and whether it is a local or regional design.
